The 2024 Hydrant Flushing Program of the entire town is now complete. If you are experiencing discoloration in your water, please call 201-652-5300 ext. 240 or if after working hours, please call 201-652-5300 ext. 204 and leave a message with your name and address and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. Discoloration is caused by elevated levels of iron in the water, which does not pose any health risks. The water is tested regularly and is safe. Additional hydrant flushing may be needed in areas where discoloration is present.
