Garbage Collection Information:
Gaeta is Waldwick's solid waste and recycling collection contractor. Important changes have been made to the Borough's Curbside Garbage Collection rules in an effort to mitigate dramatic cost increases in the garbage collection industry as shown in the table below. Garbage will continue to be collected curbside twice weekly. See Garbage Collection Map.Mondays & Thursdays Collection - West of, and including, Franklin Turnpike to Wyckoff border.
Tuesdays & Fridays Collection - East of Franklin Turnpike to Saddle River border.

Visit the Clerk’s office to pickup yard waste and recycling stickers for your cans/containers. Avoid missed pickups!
Recycling Collection (Commingled & Cardboard/Mixed Paper):
No changes to Curbside Recycling Collection - every Wednesday alternating between Cardboard & Mixed Paper (newspapers, magazines, books, mail and junk mail) and Commingled Collection one week and (plastics #1, #2, & #5, glass jars/bottles and aluminum & tin cans) the next. Recyclables must be loose in cans - no plastic bags. Recycling Collection Dates 2024
Waldwick also owns and operates our own Recycling Center located at 19 Industrial Park. Recycling Center hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
