Well Construction Updates:

We will post notices, progress reports and any relevant information here.

5-7-2024: All tanks have been delivered and installed at all the Well House locations. The next phase will include the delivery and installation of the filter media at each location. Once the filter media is installed, there is a series of testing that is required before the wells are officially turned back online. After all the testing is completed and approved by the Department of Environmental Protection, , our PFOS levels should be at a non-detectable level. The Water Treatment Project is scheduled to be completed by the end of July 2024. If you have any questions about the Water Treatment Project, please contact the Borough Administrator's Office at 201-652-5300 ext. 227.

The Borough has authorized the Filing of a Claim by Wilentz Goldman & Spitzer P.A. in Regards to PFOS Litigation on Behalf of the Borough of Waldwick. The Borough is desirous in pursuing their claims and seeking reimbursement for the money that will be spent in treating for PFOS and other chemicals that have caused to enter the public water supply and caused the Borough to expend said sums of money.
