Waldwick residents have a long history of volunteering for their community. Each year, residents offer their time, energy, expertise and talent to the Borough by offering to serve on one of our Boards, Commissions or Committees.
Boards, Commissions and Committees are standing bodies established by the Borough Council. Most are established by ordinance, which outlines the purpose and duties of the various boards, commissions and committees.
In addition to their defined roles, boards, commissions and committees can also provide ongoing citizen input and advise Council on matters they request. Appointment requirements vary by board, commission and committee and may be for one, two, three and four-year terms. The appointments may be staggered to provide continuity on a particular board, commission or committee.
If you are interested and wish to be considered for one of our Boards, Commissions or Committees, please download the Citizen Leadership Application and submit to the Municipal Clerk Kelley Halewicz at khalewicz@waldwicknj.org.
